The small fishing village of Seget Donji, only 3 km away from Trogir, came to existence when a Trogir nobleman Jakov Rotondo received permission for building a fort around which the settlement then developed. During the Turkish invasion various forts were built and remains of some are visible even today. The population mostly engages in agriculture, fishing, ship building and tourism. The village with its beautiful location next to the sea has plenty of accommodation capacity in apartments, rooms, camps, hotels and pensions. It is ideal for a family vacation and the proximity of Trogir, because of all the content, makes it an excellent choice for ones in want of a more active holiday and fun.
